Free City of Spens Freebooter

  • Region: Free City of Spens & southeastern peninsula of Eryndor.
  • Lore: The Free City of Spens draws exiles, gamblers, criminals, dreamers, and those who no longer have a home elsewhere. You might be a dock-rat born between the piers, a refugee from another nation, or someone who fled overwhelming debts and now works the trade lanes.
  • Skill Set: Spens Freebooters know smuggler codes, shifting loyalties, trade politics, and the unwritten rules of a port where everyone is hiding something.

Dead Magic Dweller

  • Region: The Ekhara / The Dead-Magic Crater.
  • Lore: The crater known as Ekhara is a scar where magic collapses, flickers, or mutates into something alien. You come from one of the desperate fringe settlements that cling to its edges.
  • Skill Set: You learned to live without magic, to distrust arcana, and to survive the unpredictable distortions of the region.

Mercenary

  • Region: Any (each nation has a mercenary band that fits the flavor).
  • Lore: You served among the brutal warbands and mercenary companies found around Eryndor.

Genie Touched

  • Region: The Scar of Vaelor floating islands.
  • Lore: A sliver of genie essence touched your lineage when the floating archipelagos of Vaelor fractured into the sky. Your bloodline bears a spark of elemental nobility — storm, flame, mist, sand, or crystal.
  • Origin: You might have been raised among the floating shards or discovered your mark later.

Ice Fisher

  • Region: Thundrakar’s frozen plateaus and glacial rivers.
  • Lore: You come from the frigid mountains of Thundrakar, where goliaths fish through ice chasms and hunt along frozen cliffs.
  • Skill Set: You learned to read shifting ice, survive sudden storms, and respect the strength of nature.

Moonwell Pilgrim

  • Region: Sylvandar, the Moonwells, and the deeper fey-touched groves.
  • Lore: The Moonwells are ancient elven sacred pools scattered across the republic of Sylvandar, often close to druid circles. Moonwells reflect starlight even in the day.
  • Origin: You traveled among them as a spiritual pilgrim — guided by druids, fey emissaries, and omens. Their waters taught you patience, humility, and connection.

Old Empires Tomb Raider

  • Lore: Ancient kingdoms have risen and fallen across Eryndor, leaving crypts, ruined manors, abandoned temples, and forgotten vaults.

Mythalkeeper

  • Region: Any.
  • Lore: You serve as a guardian, explorer, student, or adventurer of one of the areas where magic has gathered. It may be the towering Woaden trees, the great wall of Thundrakar, or even The Last Howl tavern. Regardless, this magic has influenced you deeply.

Velvet Ledger Enforcer

(Replaces: Zhentarim Mercenary)

  • Region: Thalenmark.
  • Lore: The Velvet Ledger is Eryndor’s most dangerous financial-criminal syndicate — a covert mixture of bankers, assassins, brokers, and blackmailers whose influence reaches every port, caravan route, and economic center on the continent. You either served them or barely escaped their debts.

Arcane Wanderer of Eryndor

(Replaces: Rashemi Wanderer)

  • Region: Any.
  • Lore: You traveled the magical arteries of Eryndor — drifting between arcane academies, wild-magic regions, battlefield ruins, and wandering spell-sages.
  • Origin: Whether you studied briefly in the Arcanum of Contramara, the experimental halls of Lexovar, the storm academies of Vorth, or among nomadic mage circles, your life has been defined by movement, curiosity, and exposure to many forms of magic.

Shadowmasters Exile

  • Region: Any region with active criminal networks.
  • Lore: Your life was shaped in the underbellies of civilization — places where law has no reach and the shadows have names. You survived the black markets of Borgnar, the Guttering Lantern beneath Ciliren, the night warrens of Spens, the docks of Contramara, or the shattered tunnels beneath Rath.
  • Criminal Organizations: Most Exiles have crossed paths with Eryndor’s infamous syndicates:
