The Champions Guild is a welcoming community built on camaraderie, respect, and the thrill of adventure. To maintain a positive, inclusive atmosphere, all members—players and staff alike—are expected to adhere to this Code of Conduct both in-game and in community interactions. The Guild exists to provide a safe, enjoyable space for members to escape, relax, and immerse themselves in adventure.

DMs dedicate their time to preparing and running games. Please be respectful of both their effort and the time of your fellow players.

General Conduct

  • Respect: All members must treat one another with respect, patience, and kindness. Harassment, hate speech, discrimination, shaming, and aggressive or disruptive behavior are strictly prohibited.
  • No Real-World Politics or Religion: Discussions involving real-world politics or religious debates are not permitted. The Champions Guild is intended as an escape from real-world issues.
  • Privacy: Do not share personal information about other members without explicit permission.
  • No Solicitation: Unapproved advertising or solicitation for products, services, or other communities is prohibited.

Voice Chat Etiquette

  • Observing Games: Observers are welcome to watch ongoing games but must mute their microphones to avoid disrupting gameplay.
  • Respect the Table: Keep side conversations to a minimum and avoid talking over others to ensure smooth gameplay.
  • Do not tell others how to play their character.
  • Minimize Background Noise: If you have significant background noise, please mute your microphone or use push-to-talk to avoid disrupting the game.

Webcam Policy

  • While not mandatory, webcams are highly encouraged to enhance immersion and maintain the table feel.
  • Certain DMs may give priority to players willing to use webcams.
  • Appropriate Webcam Use: Keep webcams appropriate at all times — no nudity, inappropriate content, or creepy behavior. Respect the comfort of other players.
  • Recording games or webcam feeds without explicit permission from all participants is strictly prohibited.

Text Chat Etiquette

  • Channel Relevance: Channels dedicated to specific functions must only be used for their intended purpose. Off-topic discussions should take place in general chat or the appropriate channel.
  • Message Linking: If you wish to discuss or comment on something posted in a specialized channel, copy the message link and continue the conversation in general chat or another appropriate room.

Roleplay (RP) Guidelines

  • In-Character Channels: Use the dedicated RP channels exclusively for in-character roleplaying. Always speak in character when engaging in these channels.
  • Tupperbox Use: When roleplaying, always use the Tupperbox feature to clearly represent your character. Impersonating another player’s character or NPC with Tupperbox or any other method is strictly forbidden and will result in disciplinary action.

Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly prohibited within the Guild:

  • Discussions involving real-world politics or religion.
  • Crimes against innocent NPCs without explicit consent from your DM and party members.
  • Player vs. Player (PvP) interactions without prior consent of all involved parties and the overseeing DM.
  • Excessively graphic descriptions of gore or violence without the consent of all involved players.
  • Explicit sexual content, including comments, images, avatars, and usernames.
  • Hate speech, harassment, or aggressive behavior.
  • Spamming.

Spam

Spam, including but not limited to the following behaviors, is unacceptable:

  • Repeated phrases, unnecessary posts, or unsolicited links.
  • Excessive repetition.
  • Excessive tagging of roles or individuals.
  • Unapproved advertising.

Handling Issues

  • Reporting Issues: If another member’s behavior makes you uncomfortable or violates these rules, open a ticket to report the incident immediately. Moderators and admins have full discretion in handling these cases.
  • Moderation Discussions: Do not publicly shame or argue about moderation decisions. If you disagree with a moderator’s decision, please open an admin ticket to discuss it privately.

This is a living document and may be updated periodically to reflect the evolving needs of our community. By participating in the Champions Guild, you agree to uphold these standards for the comfort and enjoyment of everyone.
