Garagos is a savage war deity — a being of pure martial destruction who cares nothing for strategy, honor, or the reasons behind conflict. Where Tempus represents the glory and craft of battle, Garagos represents its mindless, consuming brutality. He is depicted as a six-armed warrior in blood-drenched armor, wielding a different weapon in each hand, wading through carnage with vacant, ecstatic eyes.

Garagos was once a greater deity known as Targus, but was defeated and humbled by Tempus in divine combat long ago. He has never recovered his former power and exists now as a diminished but still dangerous deity defined largely by the memory of what he lost and the desire to reclaim it through ever-greater destruction.

Followers

Garagos attracts the most violent and undisciplined warriors — berserkers, pillagers, and those who fight not for cause or craft but for the pure release of destruction. His followers are expected to cause as much carnage as possible in his name, with little regard for strategy or consequence. His clergy are rare and dangerous, conducting blood-soaked rites before battle. Followers tend to be volatile, physically imposing, and deeply uncomfortable in any setting that doesn’t involve combat.

Divine Relationships

Garagos has an ongoing rivalry with Tempus, who defeated him and stripped him of much of his power — a humiliation he has never forgotten or forgiven. He has no true allies, as his mindless destructiveness makes him an unreliable partner even for evil deities. Most of the divine order ignores him as a diminished nuisance rather than a genuine threat.
