Luthic is the consort of Gruumsh and the goddess of orc females, the home, caves, and the survival of the orc people through fertility and endurance. Where Gruumsh embodies conquest and outward violence, Luthic represents the internal strength that sustains orcish society — the bearing and raising of warriors, the tending of wounds, and the maintenance of the caves and strongholds that orc communities call home.

She is depicted as a massive female orc with great claws, wise and dangerous in equal measure. She is not a gentle nurturing deity — her love is fierce and practical, and she has little patience for weakness even in the young she tends.

Followers

Luthic is worshipped primarily by orc women, healers, and the elderly within orc society. Her followers tend the wounded after battle, bear and raise the next generation of warriors, and maintain the home territories while the warriors are away. Her clergy are among the most practically powerful members of orc society despite their lower social status — they control healing, fertility, and the survival of the community. They tend to be tough, pragmatic, fiercely protective of their communities, and deeply underestimated by outsiders.

Divine Relationships

Luthic is the consort of Gruumsh, and she is the only deity he genuinely respects — a significant distinction given his contempt for most divine beings. Her relationship with him is one of equal partnership beneath a surface of submission, as she knows her role in sustaining everything he builds is indispensable. She has no love for most other deities, viewing the wider pantheon with orcish suspicion.
