Aasimar - Radiance of the Old Blood
The power of the Old Blood is a mysterious force limited to the highest echelon of powerful families and bloodlines. Each manifestation is paired with a significant drawback that cannot be avoided or reduced.
Any player wishing to use an Old Blood trait must first receive approval through the approvals channel on the Discord.

Level 7 Power
Once per long rest, when you take damage from an enemy within 30 feet, you may use your reaction to emit a burst of radiant light. The attacker must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier) or take 3d8 radiant damage and be blinded until the start of their next turn.
Drawback
After using this ability, you are blinded until the start of your next turn.
