Thundrakar — Diplomatic Relations

National Identity

Thundrakar sees itself as heir to the ancient giants. Goliath identity is strength, endurance, ancestry, competition, and survival against impossible cold. They respect power proven by deed and distrust comfort, softness, and excessive magitech. Their diplomacy is blunt, physical, and often violent, shaped by raiding, scarcity, clan honor, and the need to prove strength.

General Reputation

Most nations view Thundrakar as proud, harsh, and dangerous, but not false. Goliaths are feared as raiders and respected as survivors. They rarely flatter, rarely hide weakness, and rarely understand why softer nations mistake comfort for civilization. Their honesty is appreciated mostly at a distance.

Primary Diplomatic Tensions

Thundrakar’s greatest tension is need. The clans distrust fragment dependence, yet fragments buy food, metals, medicine, and leverage. This makes foreign diplomacy uncomfortable: they trade what many of them spiritually distrust, and raid those they think have grown weak behind walls and contracts.
