The Shatter Sanctum stands in the Shattered Lands, northeast of the Glass Fields, built around a damaged lesser forge-core found beneath the wreckage of an ancient battlefield. The core can no longer create new Steelborn, but it still hums with enough life to be worshiped, guarded, studied, and feared.
The Shatterwardens believe damaged things are not lesser, only unfinished. They guard the broken forge-core and destroy scavengers who hunt sacred fragments from fallen bodies.
Shatterwarden Elder: Vark
An old Steelborn with cracked obsidian plating, one mismatched silver arm, and a voice that glitches when angered. Patient with broken machines and merciless toward grave-robbers. Vark believes every damaged Steelborn deserves recovery, remembrance, and either repair or sacred return to the Forge.
