The Stormwake Tower rises from the largest island in Hearthpoint, a massive lighthouse-temple watching over Kastalshire’s dangerous coastal waters. Its beacon, called The Vigilant Flame, is blessed each dusk and kept burning through storm, fog, and war.
Its defenders are called the Stormwake Shepherds, weather-trained protectors who guide ships through reefs, bless sailors, and track suspicious vessels. Honest captains trust the light. Pirates fear it, because the Shepherds have a habit of appearing out of rain and fog exactly when trouble begins.

A broad, weather-scarred human priest with a shaved head, a cracked voice, and one hand permanently blackened from old lightning burns. He is grim, patient, and difficult to impress, but sailors trust him because he has buried enough of them to take every voyage seriously.
