The Petrified Grove rests along the River Silt near Huarthal, where strange mineral light glows beneath the soil and the riverbanks glitter with shards of living stone. The druids tend stone trees — bright, gem-like growths of petrified wood that continue to grow slowly year after year.
The druids do not fully understand the trees, and they do not pretend to. They prune them with diamond-edged sickles, sing growth rites into the stone, and protect them from miners, collectors, and clan agents who see only profit.

A dwarven druid with copper-gray hair, gem dust in her beard braids, and hands scarred from handling living crystal bark. She is patient, suspicious of outsiders, and fiercely protective of the grove. She believes the stone trees are not resources. They are elders.
