Stonevein Bastion is built one mile off the Stone Road, reached by a side passage roughly twenty miles from Karvok-Dur. It is less a temple than a living maintenance hall, fortress, and waystation. The monks venerate the Stone Road itself as the great unifier of Kar Dromm.
Its monks are called the Road Brothers. They protect, repair, patrol, and reinforce the Stone Road, treating every cracked paving stone like a wound in the body of the nation.
Road Prior: Road Prior Brakka Thanegrit
A compact, iron-shouldered dwarf with a shaved head, a square beard, and stone dust permanently worked into the lines of her face. She speaks plainly, works constantly, and believes any dwarf who forgets the Road has forgotten what made Kar Dromm one people.
